Sound insulation PAD 300

Progress in the manufacture of new low-dimensional materials , which can effectively absorb the sound waves, helps us to overcome conventional insulators’ challenges such as high thickness. The word “low-dimension” unwantedly pushes us to nano-scale materials. Rose SINTEX, derived from 6-year R&D, is a new nano-coated textile with sound insulating feature with the primary acceptance for US patent.Rose SINTEX sound insulating blankets not only save the interior dimensional space but are also flexible, easily installable and water repellent.

Sound transfer in buildings

In the field of building acoustics, two types of sound transmission exist.
Airborne noises are transmitted by air and atmosphere. The radio, or people carrying on a conversation, are good examples of airborne noises.
Impact noises propagate through solids and result from a shock on them. The footsteps of a person and the sound of an object falling on the floor are examples of impact noises.

Sound Absorption Coefficient

The fraction of sound energy absorbed by a material. It is expressed as a value between 1.0, perfect absorption (no reflection) and 0, zero absorption (total reflection).

Impact sound pressure level (Ln)

Accumulated impact sound pressure level propagates from a roof resulted in Impact sound pressure level weighted index (Ln,w) according to standard levels in frequencies in 1/3 octave bonds.

Sound transmission loss (TL or R)

Accumulated decrease in intensity of sound wave energy as a wave propagates outwards from a source and resulted in sound reduction or transmission loss weighted Index (Rw).
